Friulane, or furlane, or even “scarpets” are traditional Venetian shoes handmade in Italy that stand out for their comfort, elegance and versatility. This model of ancient origin is made of soft and luxurious deep blue velvet with a special and innovative stain and water repellent treatment, matching grosgrain border, natural cotton lining and insole, and stitched rubber sole. Women's blue velvet Friulanes are a model to wear for any occasion and season, whether with socks or barefoot. Chic yet casual, they can be worn during the day with a natural linen Bermuda shorts and light blue striped shirt or in the evening with along a brightly colored satin dress.
